Beat those old pandemic blues at Mexico’s Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort with a deal that celebrates the seventh anniversary of Jack Nicklaus’s spectacular Quivira Golf Club.

To mark the seventh anniversary of the opening of Jack Nicklaus-designed Quivira Golf Club, Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort in Los Cabos has launched its Lucky Seven deal.

The six-night, seven-day package lets guests select seven from among the featured activities (including golf, culinary experiences and spa treatments) offered by the resort. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort is part of Quivira Los Cabos, a master-planned community at Land’s End on Mexico’s Baja Peninsula that includes resorts Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, The Towers at Pacifica, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach and Montecristo Estates Luxury Villas, as well as private residences.

Build your Lucky Seven vacation from among the options below. Naturally, a round of golf at Quivira Golf Club, one of the world’s most thrillingly dramatic courses, is a given:

Golf at Quivira Golf Club: This Jack Nicklaus Signature course is a marvel of massive sand dunes, sheer granite cliffs and rolling desert foothills. Nicklaus’s US$40-million layout starts near the sea before climbing more than 107 metres. The spectacular 1.2-kilometre drive between the fourth and fifth holes crosses arroyo-spanning bridges and traces a switchback route up the side of a mountain. And built into the experience are four comfort stations, including the Oasis, which features Mexican specialties and a full bar.

Orchard Cooking Class: Held in an open-air kitchen in the resort’s organic orchard, the class teaches guests how to select and prepare vegetables and herbs to make regional Baja dishes. A gourmet lunch prepared by the class is paired with Mexican wines and served at a communal table set beneath market umbrellas in the orchard.

Hook & Cook: Surf-casting equipment is available to guests who want to try their luck in the Sea of Cortez. Catch or no catch, resort staff will prepare a meal centered around fresh ceviche and slivers of fish marinated in citrus and spices.

Beach Bed: Large elegant beds, shaded on top and on the sides for privacy, are ideal for couples who want to enjoy the sight and sounds of the surf. Full butler service is provided, with all food and refreshments included.

Private Tequila Tasting: A trained sommelier will describe every nuance of tequila—from the fermentation and distillation process to the various types available—starting with the blanco (white) version generally used in the making of Margaritas.

Shopping Tour: One of the Tower at Pacifica’s butlers will accompany guests on a guided tour of downtown Cabo San Lucas. Stops include artisan shops where ceramics, clothing, straw hats, handbags and other quality souvenirs are available.

Sunset Tepee Experience: A four-course meal is served at sunset under the cover of your own tepee. Prepared tepee-side by a resort chef, dinner includes craft cocktails, curated DJ music, and a photographer to capture the memory.

Armonia Spa Immersion: Treatments to relax, revive and renew are offered. Guests may choose any combination of two treatments from therapies that include body scrubs, body wraps and spa facials.

Guided Hike to the Old Lighthouse: Set above a magnificent stretch of sheer granite cliffs where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, the fortress-like lighthouse (known as Faro Viejo) is an ideal destination for a guided hike. Dating to 1905 and the oldest standing structure in Los Cabos, this National Historic Monument has been the inspiration for poets, painters and photographers.

Day Trip to Medano Beach: A protected three-kilometre crescent of sand lapped by calm waters, Medano Beach is considered the best place for a relaxing swim in all of Los Cabos. Beach guests can access restaurants and other services at Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Beach Resort, and Pueblo Bonito Rosé Resort & Spa.

The all-inclusive Lucky Seven package starts from US$2,600 per person (based on double occupancy), with accommodation in a deluxe room.  Rates include all meals and beverages at the resort, as well as access to restaurants and bars at three sister properties in Cabo San Lucas. Taxes and gratuities are included in the package price.
