A string of 12 courses stretching from Victoria to Campbell River, the Vancouver Island Golf Trail is offering a late-season six-night, six-round holiday package that swings through some of British Columbia’s most spectacular scenery. Cost: $725 to Dec. 31, 2016.

The package includes two-night stays in each of Victoria, Parksville and Courtney, as well as a hot daily breakfast and shared power carts. The itinerary includes rounds at Arbutus Ridge Golf Club, Olympic View Golf Club, Fairwinds Golf and Country Club, Crown Isle Resort, Morningstar Golf Club, and Storey Creek Golf Club.

Formed in 2002, the 250-kilometre-long Vancouver Island Golf Trail features stops in the wine region of the Cowichan Valley, the seafront tourist towns of Parksville and Qualicum Beach, and the still largely unspoiled wilds of the North Island.
