(Last updated December 2021.)
A string of 13 courses stretching from Victoria to Campbell River, a temperate region where golf is played year-round, the Vancouver Island Golf Trail is offering a six-night, six-round golf package that swings through some of British Columbia’s most spectacular scenery. Cost: $965 to $1,275.
The package includes two-night stays in each of Victoria, Parksville and Courteney, as well as rounds at Highland Pacific Golf Course, Olympic View Golf Club, Fairwinds Golf and Country Club, Crown Isle Resort, Morningstar Golf Club, and Storey Creek Golf Club.
Formed in 2002, the 250-kilometre-long Vancouver Island Golf Trail features stops in the wine region of the Cowichan Valley, the seafront tourist towns of Parksville and Qualicum Beach, and the still largely unspoiled wilds of the North Island.
