Indulge your inner sybarite at Terre Blanche, a five-star retreat close to the French Riviera that features a Michelin-starred restaurant and two top golf courses.
Tired of the same old après-golf beer and rotisserie hot dog at your home club?
Consider indulging yourself with a trip to Terre Blanche, a five-star golf resort close to the French Riviera that recently retained the Michelin-star rating for its flagship gastronomic restaurant, Le Faventia.
The prestigious one-star rating recognizes the immersive culinary experience at Terre Blanche, where deeply rooted Provençal terroir is coupled with luxury accommodations. When not dining sumptuously, tee it up at the resort’s two Dave Thomas-designed 18-hole courses: Le Château Golf Course, a 7,235-yard flagship design that plays around numerous water hazards and through ravines; and Le Riou Golf Course, a testing 6,567-yard layout featuring stunning views of the nearby villages of the Pays de Fayence region.
“Retaining our Michelin star is a momentous achievement for the entire team,” says Marc Delauné, the resort’s president.

Chef Quentin André, who has been at the helm of Le Faventia since 2024, oversees a menu that spotlights the produce of the region: baby vegetables from Tourves, line-caught fish from St Raphaël, Vidauban poultry, and fresh herbs from the property’s garden.
Set within a 300-hectare Provençal estate, 45 minutes from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (serviced by direct flights from across Europe, North America and the Middle East), Terre Blanche is included in Golf World’s latest Top 100 World Resorts listing, and in the 2026 Best Golf Resort ranking of Leading Courses. Terre Blanche is the first and only Troon Privé affiliated property in France.
Opened in 2004, after German Dieter Hope purchased the woodland estate from actor Sean Connery, Terre Blanche has embraced numerous sustainable initiatives, from eco-friendly construction techniques to the preservation of original vegetation and the protection of local wildlife. The resort is one of only three golf venues in France to have received the Gold Certificate for Biodiversity from both the French Golf Federation and the National Museum of Natural History.
The property includes 115 suites and villas, the Albatros Golf Performance Centre and the Terre Blanche Golf Academy, a spa, and four restaurants, led by Le Faventia, that serve gourmet cuisine unlike anything at most golf clubs back home.
