Sip, Stay and Golf at Predator Ridge

British Columbia’s Predator Ridge Resort is now offering tour excursions to Quail’s Gate, Mission Hill and other top wineries in the Thompson-Okanagan region.

Most people visit Predator Ridge Resort in British Columbia’s Thompson-Okanagan region for the spectacular scenery and to golf on the property’s two acclaimed golf courses. But the resort is also an ideal home base for tours of top nearby wineries such as Mission Hill and Quail’s Gate.

Located just outside Vernon in the heart of Canada’s premier wine district, Predator Ridge is now offering two sip and stay packages from $389 per person. The packages, operated in partnership with Elite Mile Transportation, include one night’s accommodation in the main lodge, parking, complimentary wi-fi, access to the fitness centre, as well as guest access to the KurSpa at Sparkling Hill Resort, a high-end European-style wellness retreat set high on a cliff overlooking Predator Ridge.

Tours take between four and six hours, leaving plenty of time for a tee off at either of the property’s two golf courses. The older course, Predator, is a Les Furber design that wends through rolling hills and tall grasses. But the real star is The Ridge, a brilliant Doug Carrick creation named SCOREGolf’s best new Canadian course of 2010.
