To mark its milestone birthday, Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort in Hilton Head is featuring a variety of stay-and-play packages, including a four-night Ladies Golf Getaway.
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, a Hilton Head Island institution, is offering an early-season Ladies Golf Getaway package, with other deals to be announced throughout the year.
Offered until May 9, the Ladies Getaway includes four nights in a two-bedroom villa, two rounds of golf for four players, a dinner certificate and a complimentary bottle of wine, a 50-minute massage, and a two-hour lesson for four golfers with a resident pro. The price: $745 to $975(US), based on availability.

For golfers, the headline attraction at Palmetto Dunes is a trio of award-winning golf courses by three top designers—Robert Trent Jones Sr., Arthur Hills and George Fazio. The 2,000-acre South Carolina resort sits on five kilometres of Atlantic Ocean beach, with access to an 18-kilometre inland salt-water lagoon system for kayaking and fishing.
Named one of the World’s Best Family Getaways by Travel + Leisure in 2013, Palmetto Dunes also features a tennis centre, nature cruises, dolphin tours, sport crabbing and fishing. Shelter Cove Harbour, Hilton Head’s largest deep-water marina, is located directly across from the resort.
